Kamlesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in architecture from The Architectural Association, London, UK, an NCARB Certification, and is licensed as an architect in California, Idaho and Washington States.
Since working for AECOM (formerly DMJM)/Houston/Los Angeles and then GRUEN Associates/Los Angeles at a senior position for several years, Kamlesh founded his own architectural/development practice in 1987 as LAstudio, later renaming PARIX international providing architectural and interior design, project integration and construction management services for his clients as well as participating as an equity partner in development of numerous projects starting from land acquisition, design, development to marketing while employing state of the art technology in all aspects. Being in AEC business now for over 35 years, Kamlesh offers his knowledge and experience in overall practice of architecture for a large variety of building types, namely – civic, commercial, educational, healthcare, historic preservation, hospitality, mixed-use, recreation, religious, residential, retail and transportation.
Kamlesh & his wife Bhavna with their two young children, Roshni and Raj, moved to Pebble Beach in 1992 from Marina del Rey/LA and have been living here since. Bhavna started on the Peninsula as Rehab Director for Beverly Manor (now Carmel Hills Care Center), then for the benefit of devoting more time for the children, flexibility and freedom, joined local agencies as Home Care Physical Therapist treating geriatric patients exclusively. Bhavna has loved music all her life and to further her passion, has, while walking along Carmel and Pebble Beach shorelines, written, composed and produced an album of the Bollywood flair. Their children, both graduates of local private schools (Santa Catalina and Stevenson), are accomplished young individuals in their own right. Roshni (26) graduates with MBA from Santa Clara University while working full time for a high-tech industry, and Raj (21) graduates with Bachelors in Business from UC Irvine, with a job lined up with Deloitte in the interim, this summer.
