Jack and his wife moved to Pebble Beach in 2010. Prior to that they had lived for thirty-three years in Northern California — Chico area. Prior to Chico they had lived and grown up in San Diego (Point Loma).
He completed an undergraduate degree in business at Whittier College in the Late 1960’s and entered the Naval Reserve upon graduation. In the Navy, he taught a course in Naval Management Analysis for senior enlisted and junior officers. After his military service, he finished an MBA from San Diego State University and ultimately received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine in business. He then took a teaching job at California State University, Chico in the College of Business where he taught graduate courses and was an Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs. He and his wife both retired from the University in 2000.
Jack and his wife are very pleased to be able to live in the “Forest” and he is looking forward to having an opportunity to learn more about the area and the challenges facing it.
