PBCSD Open House/Public Safety Day

Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

The Board of Directors and staff of the Pebble Beach Community Services District (PBCSD) cordially invite all residents to attend our annual Open House/Public Safety Day and Barbeque at the PBCSD facilities located at Forest Lake and Lopez Roads on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This will be a good time to meet with your neighbors, obtain safety information you need to protect your family and property, and enjoy the barbeque and refreshments.
A variety of professionals in the fields of fire protection, emergency medical care, law enforcement, undergrounding of overhead utilities, wastewater, solid waste disposal and recycling will be available to share valuable information. Residents will have the opportunity to walk through an area of exhibits where you can meet various vendors, Del Monte Forest organizations, and other public safety participants who can provide literature and answer any questions about their services and community activities.
Staff will be conducting tours of the fire station and fire safe garden. Fire engines and equipment will be on display. The “Smoke House” will teach home fire safety as well as other household safety practices. The “Kids Corner” will again be hosting a fire safety poster contest for children. All children will receive prizes, and a professional face painter will be on hand to create smiles and fun for children and adults!
Back again this year will be the hugely popular “Photo Booth”. Come see what this year’s theme is!
You will have the opportunity to purchase high-quality, rechargeable fire extinguishers, or bring your existing fire extinguishers for annual servicing.
Fire Department staff will provide training/demonstrations on the proper use of fire extinguishers and your family members may have an opportunity to use a fire extinguisher to put out live fires. Paramedics will demonstrate lifesaving equipment and techniques.
When arriving at PBCSD, please enter from Lopez Road. Parking information will be available on our information radio station at 1620 AM.
