Nancy Caldwell

Nancy was born and raised in California, graduated from Cal Berkeley with a degree in Marketing and spent her early career as staff for a US Congressman in DC and California.

Growing up on a cattle ranch in Diablo, she has always been an outdoors person with an appreciation of the environment, a connection to nature, and a feeling of responsibility to her community. After her son was born, she
moved to Carmel Valley and became active in his schools. She also served on the Library and Village improvement boards and the board of the Ventana Wilderness Society. She owned a small business in the Village prior to opening the Nature Company in Carmel.

When her son went to college she returned to the Bay Area and entered the world of nonprofit management and philanthropy with the American Heart Association. She was Executive Director for the San Francisco Region before being promoted to Vice President of Philanthropy for the Western States Affiliate.

After retiring from the American Heart Association she was drawn back into the world of philanthropy and served as the Director of Development for Cardiology at the University of California San Francisco. The next time she
retired she moved to Pebble Beach.

Nancy has an active family and social life, enjoys travel, and is committed to her community. She served as a volunteer for the Big Sur Land Trust for ten years. For fun she enjoys swimming laps at CVAC and driving her 1965 356 Porsche SC through the beautiful Pebble Beach forest..
