David Goupil

I was a born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire where I raised my two sons. In New Hampshire I was active in local organizations centered around raising my children.  I served as a coach and board member for various local sports organizations and was very active in soccer, coaching at various levels, culminating as an assistant coach for the Southern New Hampshire University Women’s Soccer team.
I attended New Hampshire Technical Institute (Electronic Engineering Technology) and began my career at Honeywell, Home & Building Controls in 1981.  Over the next 26 years I held various local, regional and national positions.  My role as a Honeywell Total Quality Trainer allowed me to travel throughout the country where I eventually met my wife, Lori Lietzke.
I moved to Pebble Beach in 2006.   Within months I began to feel a sense of stewardship for the Del Monte Forest; a feeling that I’ve arrived “home” by simply passing through one of the Pebble Beach community gates.   I retired from West Marine Inc. in 2023 and increased my volunteer efforts on the peninsula.  I look forward to helping preserve and improve the quality of life we cherish so dearly in the Del Monte Forest.
