A native of Upstate New York, my husband and I have lived in Pebble Beach since 1989 and became homeowners in 1993. Our relocation to the Monterey Peninsula from Los Angeles was prompted by an opportunity for my husband to start a private practice as a Pediatric Neurologist in Carmel. The practice has grown over the years and my role as Office Manager has afforded me a unique perspective of both the Business and Healthcare Communities on the Central Coast.
My background is primarily in Healthcare and Medical Imaging. Over a period of 35 years I advanced from a Registered Technologist providing front-line patient care to a Regional Manager of Operations accountable for a 7,000 square mile territory. Stepping down from full time in 2016, I transitioned to a contract position as Director of Sales and Marketing for an international start-up company focused on customer engagement.
I enjoy my work as a Docent at Point Sur State Historic Park and serve as the Administrative Chair; participating and supporting in the restoration of the Light Station. I am interested in anthropology, geology, and ecology; particularly in the coastal environment.
I have traveled throughout the world and appreciate watercolors, hiking, gardening, cooking, and entertaining.
